Driving Less

Today I got to ride in the rain.  I was honked at, cut-off, and crashed on some slippery metal.  It's like a bike commute hat-trick.  Oddly enough it made for a great day of riding.

Young Americans are choosing to drive less.  Numerous articles have noted the changing priorities from an older generation that felt owning a car was synonymous with success and attractiveness.  As Motor Trend put it "they're more likely to spend the money on smartphones, tablets, laptops, and $2000-plus bikes."
